Frances (Battle) Williams was born February 6, 1943 in Athens, Georgia,  to the union of the late Robert Battle Sr. and Margaret P. (Lester) Battle. Frances entered her eternal rest on Saturday, August 11, 2018. She was the fifth child of thirteen children. Frances married Cecil Williams in June of 1960 and to this union six children were born, Maurey, Nathaniel, Cecilia, Jackie, Carlettia, and Anthony.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by four brothers,  Robert Jr., Charlie Sr., Curtis Sr., and Nathan;  and four sisters, Virginia, Dolores, JoAnn and Gwen.

Frances was educated in the Cincinnati Public School System.

Frances confessed a hope in Christ at an early age.

Frances was a STNA and worked at Crawford Nursing Home, Beechwood Nursing Home, and Jewish Orthodox Nursing Home. She retired at Beechwood Nursing Home.

Frances favorite color was red. Her nicknames were "The Girl" and "Chick".

Frances loved to dance, play bingo and play cards. She loved her family and friends.

Frances leaves to cherish her memory and to celebrate her home going:  three sons: Maurey, Nathaniel (Treva), and Anthony; three daughters: Cecilia, Jacqueline, and Carlettia; two brothers Anthony Sr. (Bessie), Tommy Sr. (Lynn); two sisters: Vanessa and Julia Reshane; sisters-in-laws, Patricia Battle, Lera Battle-McCullough and Loretta Battle; brother-in-law, Olen Johnson; 21 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and loving friends.

Frances shall be greatly missed by all who loved her. Her memory will live on in our heart forever.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Walker Funeral Home, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Pastor Lawrence McNickles will officiate.

Michael Williams, Sr., Maurice Williams, Sr., Antonio Williams, Rodney Battle, RodNico Battle, and Reginal Williams will serve as pallbearers.
