Flossie Mae Kenney was born on January 4, 1942, to the union of the late John and Eddie Mae Kenney.  She was educated in the Cincinnati Public School system.

Flossie was a social butterfly who loved being surrounded by friends and family and always had a smile. She ensured that everyone in the home was well taken care of and often involved them in school functions and attended school field trips. She has one son, John Kenney, whom she shares with the late Samuel Hayes. She also helped care for her mother before her passing. Flossie enjoyed cooking, sewing, and playing the lottery.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Eddie Mae, her brother, Melvin Kenney, her sister, Maxine Kenney, and her uncle, William Kenney.

To honor her memories, Flossie leaves her son John Kenney, her grandchildren Felicia Marie Kenney and John Kenney Jr., her niece Schiffona Kenney, nephews Eddie and Melvin Kenney, and her sister-in-law Johnnie Mae Kenney. Along with a host of family members and close friends.

She will be dearly missed.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation,  beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
