Faye
Carter
July 24, 1960 — May 5, 2026
Faye Carter gained her wings on May 5th, 2026, at the Madeira Care Center. She was born on July 24th, 1960, to parents, Mary Hudson and Jim Johnson, both deceased. Two sisters, Carol Dubose and Joanne Hudson, and a special friend, Bertha Tate, also preceded her in death.
Faye attended Hayes Elementary, Porter Junior High, and Taft High School. She went on to attend Cincinnati Technical College, where she received her Associate Degree in Nursing, and went on to work as a private duty nurse after a short employment with the Metropolitan Housing Authority. Her proudest moments were the appreciation of the people she cared for.
Faye’s favorite pastime was online shopping, which, according to my bank account, she was very good at (LOL). She adored spending time with her grandchildren. She liked exploring different religious practices. She relied heavily on her daily Bible studies to shape her appreciation for life and the people around her.
Faye leaves behind her adoring family: husband Othello Carter; her children, Donnell and Corina Hudson, LaRone and Skyler Carter; her beautiful grandchildren, Asia, Yasmine, and Imani Roberts; their father, Tee Roberts; Jacari Carter, his mother Dee Richardson, Zuri, Skyler, and Simeon Carter, and their mother Nailah Pettus. She also leaves behind her two brothers, Leander (Buck) and Darron Hudson; her three sisters, Gertrude Banks, Pat Brown, and Jean Hudson; a special friend, Donna Geer; as well as countless nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. She cherished them all.
We were all truly blessed with her presence in our lives. May she rest in peace, knowing that she will never be forgotten.
