Fares M. Haboush May 13, 1929 - June 3, 2022

Fares Michael Haboush was born in Machghara, Lebanon on May 13th, 1929, and passed peacefully at the age of 93 in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 3rd, 2022 with his wife by his side.

In Lebanon, Fares went to seminary school and was an established school teacher and principal. Over 50 years ago Fares came to America to start a great beginning for his family. He started off in Boston, MA cooking doughnuts, bartering teaching French to learn better English, and became a construction business owner in Cincinnati in 1985.

He raised his family to go to church and follow God. He loved to sing in Lebanese and led the choir at St. James Orthodox church. In the summer of 2018, he repented of his sins and placed his faith fully in Jesus Christ. He worked everyday for his family from 7am to 7pm and loved to come home to his wife's cooking. Fares was a friend to all who knew him! He is survived by his wife, Najat Haboush, his sons, Samir, Tony, and Shaddy (Sandy) Haboush, and his grandson, Azariah Haboush.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 2530 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Baltimore Pike Cemetery, 3200 Costello Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
