Fannie Mae Larkin was born to the union of the late Walter and Indiana (nee Smith) Ferris on September 23, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She departed this earthly life with a smile on her face on May 26, 2016. She is preceded in death by: seven bothers, Walter "Jack", Pete, Fred, Albert, Leroy, Jesse and Damon Farris and four sisters, Lois Boone, Marie Duncan, Claudia Tubbs, and Ruby Cromwell, as well as, two children Floyd and Michael Larkin. She graduated from Deer Park High School. She retired from Veterans Hospital in 1993. Everybody knows she loved bingo, pokeno, and playing cards. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and aunt. She loved a good cup of java too. She loved to cook and entertain. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Willie Larkin; her children, James, Luvonne and Duane Larkin; her sister, Myrtle Mayes and loving cousin and running buddy, Juanita Collins. Her grandchildren, Shawna Talley, Ebony Larkin, Sherrell (Jesse) Kuhns, and Sharron Larkin. Her great grand children, Keila, Sahkai, Schon, Shalom, Shaylin, Dante, Graziana, Messiah. Brother and sister in laws: Anne Farris, Sandra Farris, Shirley Larkin, Archie Larkin, Penny Brown, Climmie Larkin, Lynette Rodgers, Leroy White Dan Larkin, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and loving friends. A special thank you to the staff and care givers at Kenwood Terrace for the services rendered to Fannie Larkin during her stay there. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at the Walker Funeral Home - North Avondale , 3939 Reading Road , Cincinnati (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow Vine Street Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
