Eunice McDonald, born on October 7, was the second oldest of seven children born to Elmer and Daisey McDonald. She grew up in Evanston, on Merrimac Street, where she attended and graduated from Hoffman Elementary School, Sawyer Junior High School, and Withrow High School. After high school, she enrolled in Barbizon Hair School, where she pursued her passion for cosmetology.

Eunice also worked as a social worker for the City of Cincinnati, but her true calling lay in interior decoration, where she created and built beautiful things in everything she touched.

Throughout her life, Eunice dedicated herself to the community, earning respect through her unwavering dedication and compassion. She found joy in caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Eunice cherished the simple moments she shared with family and friends. Her love for her family and loved ones was evident in the nicknames she gave them—a tradition she held dear. She also enjoyed discovering her roots and ancestry.

Eunice is remembered as a loving daughter, a caring sister, and a loving, protective mother. She will be remembered with love and peace, and many will cherish her memory. Eunice’s legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

Eunice was preceded in death by her father, Elmer McDonald, and her younger sister, Marcia McDonald. She leaves behind her loving mother, Daisey Belle McDonald; her devoted siblings, Chandre (Simuel), Eric (Beatrice), Dodie (Derrick), Lannea, and Deron.

Her children will cherish their time with her: Keria McDonald, Marquese McDonald, Ervin Frye, and Keena McDonald, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at Vine Street Hill Cemetery
