Eugene Lee Sr was the son of the late Cornelius S. Lee Jr and Floretta Glenn Lee. He was born on April 23, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at 445am. His brothers, Charles W. Lee of Chicago, IL and Hershal Colbert of Atlanta, Georgia preceded him in death. Eugene professed a belief in Christ at an early age. He joined Dirr Street Methodist Church. He was married to Elizabeth J. Robinson-Lee and to that union three children were born: Veronica, Eugenia, and Rodney. He later met Margaret Guice, his beloved companion of over twenty years and to that union two children were born, Eugene Lee Jr and James Cornelius, all of Cincinnati, Ohio. Eugene worked at H&M Meyer Packing Company and Cincinnati Milacron before volunteering for the U.S. Army in 1968. He served in the Viewnam War and received an Honroable Discharge in 1974. He then reenlisted in the US Army Reserves and served 31 years retiring on January 2, 2001. He was a loyal employee of General Electric in Evendale for over 25 years.
