Ermadell Holston Anderson was born March 27, 1950 in Ariton, Alabama. to L.R. and Smitha Mae Holston.  She was the second daughter of three girls.

Ermadell received Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Henry E. Ford of the Willing Workers Baptist Church.

She was a very outgoing person and she loved to sing and dance in school talent shows.  She went to Hays, Bloom and Taft Schools.

She worked many jobs as a young girl and later went on to find employment with Cincinnati Bell as a directory assistance operator.

Ermadell was united in holy matrimony to Jordan Anderson, Jr. in 1970.  Their union was blessed with a daughter, Shantay Holston Anderson "Punnie".

She was preceded in death by her parents, L. R. and Smitha Mae Holston,  one sister, Odell Holston Sherfield "Sudie" and her daughter, Shantay Holston Anderson "Punnie".

Ermadell departed this life for her heavenly home on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

Ermadell leaves her memories to be cherished by: one sister, Mary Holston; three nephews, Meridith Sherfield, Robert Holston and Jason Holston, Sr.; one great nephew, Aaron Sherfield (Sha'na); one great niece, Rhonda Sherild; god-daughter, Sylvone Peeple; special friend for over 50 years, Francesca People, a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ermadell "Sister" you will surely be missed.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the House of Hope, 1829 Elm Street , Cincinnati  (45202).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Baltimore Pike Cemetery , 3200 Costello Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
