He graduated from Aiken High School where he played on the football team. Upon graduation he attended Tennessee State University. He worked for several different companies; BP Gas Station, the Maisonette, Kroger's and Dymatron, where he was instrumental in the developing, packaging and distribution heating pads used to by the military to heat food.. Later in life, he finally found his passion when he became a glazier and member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT). He made sure to show you every building in Las Vegas where he did glass work and made sure to tell you all the intricate details on the difficulty of each job. He became the father to Sean Michael Johnson in 1988, the only child born through the union between him and Diane Smith. Eric had a love of many things, but the three most important to him were his family, work, and TV. Any and everybody could tell what he was really passionate about …because he'd let you know it! He leaves behind: his son, Sean; his stepson, Tyrone Hogan; his uncle Carl Whittaker; his aunt, Carrie Whittaker; his niece, Tanisha (Robert Sr.) Howell; his nephews, Armand Johnson and Isiah Hill; his cousins; Sharon Whittaker, Cheryl Whittaker and Anthony Whittaker; and a host of relatives and friends.
