Eric Bingham was born on October 23, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the union of Robert Ewing and Maybelle Ewing (née Bingham).

He was preceded in death by his siblings Clifford Bingham, Ivan Bingham, and Suznetta Bingham. He is survived by his brother, Gregory Bingham.

Eric received his education through Cincinnati Public Schools. Following his education, he began working as a floor technician at the University of Cincinnati, where he remained dedicated until his retirement.

On May 2, 1980, Eric was united in holy matrimony to Travina Bingham (née Smith). Together they shared 56 years of love, partnership, and unwavering commitment. 45 of those years married.

Eric was known for his honesty, sharp sense of humor, and straightforward nature. He had a genuine presence that made everyone feel welcome and appreciated. He deeply loved his wife and family and cherished the time he spent with them.

On May 26, 2025, Eric was called home to glory. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Travina Bingham; his children, Tasha Smith, Jashia Britten, and Trisha Bingham; his Best-friend Calvin (Gloria) Davis; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Eric will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
