Ella Mae Stewart, age 89, of Cincinnati, passed away August 31, 2014. Born in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina on April 21, 1925, she was the fifth of nine children born to the late Della and Roland Heath. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters. Ella Mae moved to Cincinnati in her early teens. She joined Calvary Methodist Church, her family's church. She met Thomas Stewart and they were united in Holy Matrimony. She had six children: Marvin (Sue) Beildman, Marie Warren, Mattie Lee Lee, Marion (William) Ervin, Mary K. Stewart, and Thomas D. Stewart, Jr. Ella Mae did work in private duty. She wanted to further her education and returned to Porter Adult Night School. Ella Mae leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Dorothey (James) Estes of Cincinnati, Ohio; ten grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
