Elizabeth C. 'Betty' Berger (nee Mancini), 68 Elizabeth C. 'Betty' Berger (nee Mancini), 68, of Springfield, PA, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Taylor Hospice. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mrs. Berger was a resident of Springfield for over 20 years and had previously lived in Upper Darby. A graduate of West Catholic Girls HS class of '62, Betty worked as a manager and waitress for Perkins, Bob's Big Boy and the Aronimink Golf Club. She enjoyed traveling, spending time in Wildwood, NJ, Disney World and was an avid collector of Wizard of Oz memorabilia. Devoted to her family, her most treasured time was spent with her grandchildren. Mrs. Berger was the wife of the late Albert Montone who died in 1992 and the late Alfred Berger, III who died in 2001. Survivors: Include her children, Anthony Montone, Gregory (Mandy) Montone and Samantha (Brian) Friez; step-children, Barbara Berger, Alfred Berger, IV, Norma Sue Uleau and Bruce Berger; a sister, Alice M. (Paul) Correnti, 6 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, a great grandchild, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
