Obituary

Eleasa Diane Harrison came into this world on September 1, 1947 the first born child of Hamilton Lee and Maggie Belle (Cobb) Lee. She departed this life to join her parents and our heavenly Father on October 2, 2013. From early on you could see that this pretty little thing, groomed in ribbons, bows and lovely dresses was just as rough and tumble as all the neighborhood boys: a trait that served her well for the rest of her life. Lisa, as she was came to be known, grew up in the Cumminsville Area of Cincinnati as a little girl attending Garfield Elementary School and later Heinhold Junior High. She graduated from Hughes High School in 1967. Three years later she was married to Philip Harrison and moved to California. Eventually settling in Santa Ana, Ca. In 1971 She gave birth to their first child, Melissa, followed by James in 1974. In santa Ana, Lisa settled into domestic life as a stay at home mother and later joined the workforce working Benmar Electronics as an assembley person. In 1979, she made the brave decision to move back to Cincinnati and raise her two children on her own. She quickly found work with Warner Cable and stayed with the company many years. In 1991, Lisa earned an Associates Degree in Computer Programming from Cincinnati Metropolitan College. The end of Lisa's professional life came in 2003 allowing her more time to care for her beloved cats and concentrate on hobbies like sewing. Her real passion, however, was her grandchildren: 5 boys, every bit as rough and tumble as the little girl she was in her early days. Lisa was Mom to more than just her own children often lending an ear to listen, a hand to help and straight forward advice. For this, and innumerable other reasons she will be sorely missed. Lisa leaves to cherish her memory and spirit a daughter, Melissa Harrison-DiCicco of Sitka, Alaska; a son, James Harrison of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Brent Lee of Cincinnati; a daughter in law, Tiffany Sanders-Harrison and five grandsons: Maxwell DiCicco (Sitka, Alaska), Myles Harrison (Cincinnati, Ohio), Jayden Harrison (Cincinnati, Ohio), Cartyr Harrison (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Jack DiCicco (Sitka, Alaska) as well as a host of cousins, neices, nephews and dear friends.
