Edward was born April 22, 1947 in Cincinnati, OH to William and Anita Scott. He graduated from Courter Technical High School in 1966. He was the oldest of four children. Edward spent his early years in Hazelwood, OH were he accepted Christ at an early age. Edward was employed as a Bus Driver for Metro for many years. He also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. He enjoyed working with the public and helping others. He was an avid sport junky. He spent most of his weekends watching football, basketball and especially NASCAR. He was a true Bengal's fan and made sure to be home in plenty of time for the start of every game. He also enjoyed cooking and had a special love for grilling. Regardless, of the weather you could best believe Edward would be somewhere on a grill making his famous ribs and homemade barbeque sauce. In addition to cooking, Edward loved to fish. Although he had all girls he still took them out and taught them how to fish. Edward was extremely loving and proud of all his daughters. Edward is survived by six biological daughters and one step daughter in which he always claimed as his own, Diane Luckey, Yolanda DeVaughn, Sonya Bridgeman-Jennings (Vincent), Valarie Scott-Jones (Anthony), Anita Birch, Doris Scott Stacie Simmons and ; two brothers and one sister, William "Bill" Scott, Jr. (Jefferi), Bradley Scott and Deborah Scott; thirteen grandchildren, Thomas Bridgeman, Jr., Matthew Birch, Jr., Bryon McCorkle, Asya DeVaughn, Craig McCorkle, David DeVaughn, Jr., Brandon Birch, Tyler Nelson, Raven Stafford, Kalen Stafford, Dawnesha Luckey, Christopher Anderson and D'Vonte Seymour; six great grandchildren; and several nieces , nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anita Scott.
