Austin Edward Ates, 77, passed April 6, 2006. Son of the late Homer Ates Sr. and Maple T. Austin, beloved father of Mayla Ates. The original owner of Eddie's Bar on Reading Road in Avondale. Visitation Wednesday, April 12, 1000AM. Funeral Service at 11am. Interment Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
