Edna Mae Harrison, age 77, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born May 17, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Richard Hall Bailey and Sarah Ashford, who proceeded her in death. She was raised by Jennie Mae Watson. He 1982, Edna began her career as a Lead Technician in Sterile Processing Department at VA Medical Center in Cincinnati. She retired as the assistant chief after 25 years of service. On, August 7, 1999, Edna symbolized her dedication to Jehovah God through water baptism. Her love and zeal for Jehovah and the ministry propelled her to regular pioneer until her health failed her. Nevertheless she spent as much time as she could in her ministry even having the opportunity to auxiliary pioneer in which she was able to make her hourly goal. Her ministry was very dear to her and she truly enjoyed the many people she studied the Bible with. She also truly enjoyed working with her brothers and sisters in the ministry especially her field service partner Marsha Polk. Her wittiness, joyful smile, and infectious laugh were only surpassed by the sharpness of her tongue. Edna had no problems telling you how she felt, how it was, and how it was going to be...no matter whom you were. Edna loved to cook and bake especially her famous pound cake and peach cobbler. Edna was a loving, devoted wife and a loving mother to her children and she will truly be missed by all. Edna leaves to cherish her memory her husband Roland; children Janitha Morris, Darlene Brooks(Charles), Richard Rachel and Janet Renee Garcia; sister Lois Rodgers; sisters Ruth Johnson, and Nancy Woodard who proceeded her in death; step children Tyrone(April) Harrison, Kimberly Harrison, Curtis(Joice) Harrison, Nicole Allen, and Angela(Erick) Rivers; seven grandchildren; Jerome and Kathy Morris; other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
