Edna Caroline Price-Johnson, born on August 23, 1943, in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, left this world on February 16, 2024. She left behind her loving siblings, brother, Floyd (Rooster) Johnson, and sister, Helen Marshann Johnson of Covington, Kentucky. She was reunited with her other siblings Geradine (Mrs. G.) Singh, and Emma Marie (Puddin) Johnson in Heaven. She was a woman of remarkable strength and unwavering spirit, leaving behind a mark on all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Edna's life was a tapestry woven with diverse experiences and profound connections. She devoted over 45 years of her life to serving the community as a dedicated Nursing aid of St. Elizabeth Hospital of NKY. Her commitment to her work was unparalleled, reflecting her deep sense of compassion and empathy for those in need.

In her youth, Edna led a vibrant life filled with adventure and excitement. She was a certified Playboy bunny in her heyday, embodying a sense of glamour and allure that captivated all those around her. Always dressed to impress, Edna exuded elegance and sophistication, setting a standard of style that was truly unmatched. She was bougie before it was even a trend, and her flair for showmanship never failed to leave a lasting impression.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Edna embraced life with a zeal and enthusiasm that was infectious. She found joy in playing the lottery and visiting casinos, relishing the thrill of chance and the excitement of risk. Her lively spirit and engaging personality made her a joy to be around, always ready with stories and anecdotes that showcased her vibrant spirit and zest for life.

In matters of the heart, Thurman Simmons was Edna's beloved life partner who preceded her in death in 1998. Their bond was one of deep love and companionship, a union that stood the test of time and left an enduring legacy of devotion and partnership.

She will be remembered for her grace, her strength, and her unwavering commitment to living life to the fullest. We bid farewell to Edna, let us carry forward the light of her memory in our hearts [Pslams 23]. May her spirit continue to inspire us to embrace each day with joy and passion. Rest in peace, you will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to have known you.
