Eddie Spencer, age 61, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born Friday, February 13, 1953 in Jackson, Tennessee. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Memorial Baptist Church, 527 Clark Street, Cincinnati (45203) with visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Share special messages with the Spencer family at www.HerbWalker.com. Eddie Spencer, Jr., was born February 13, 1953 in Jackson, Tennessee to Eddie Spencer Sr. and Mandy (nee Joy) Spencer. Eddie attended Cincinnati Public Schools and received a GED before he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1972. He served in Vietnam until he received an honorable discharge in 1975. Eddie worked as an Environmental Technician at Bethesda Scarlet Oaks for 15 years, before going to work at Children's Hospital until he became ill. Eddie was a huge sports fan, especially of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. His father, Eddie Spencer, Sr., sister, Mary Ann Holloman; brothers-in-law, Wilbur Roberts and Ricky Roberts, all preceded him in death. Eddie leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 33 years, Crycelia (Ceal); one child, Iris (Nikki); his mother, Mandy (nee Joy) Spencer; one nephew, Rodney (Sharon) Holloman of Dayton, Ohio; one niece, Anita Holloman; one grandson, Jerome Lipscomb, Jr.; one granddaughter, Jermeeka Lipscomb; six great-grandchildren, Jerome Lipscomb III, Kalah Lipscomb, Kelis Lipscomb, Jercari Lipscomb, RaeLynn Lipscomb, and JerRiah Lipscomb; three brothers-in-law, Charles Roberts, Edward Roberts, and Lionel (Elezann) Roberts; three sisters-in-law, Stephanie (Victorio) Johnson, Classie Roberts, and Amy Roberts, all of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a host of other family members and friends.
