A life filled with goodness, love, wisdom, and dedication has an everlasting foundation and will live forever. So shall it be with the life of Eddie Featherstone, who departed this life on June 18, 2026 at the Mount Airy Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Eddie was born on September 20, 1942 in Forrest City Arkansas to Willie Featherstone Sr. and Evelina Rosie Smith. He accepted Christ at an early age and united with Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Shell Lake, Arkansas.

Eddie married Claudia Pargo in 1964 and they raised three children, Ray Anthony, Joe Nathan, and Tina Featherstone of Cincinnati Ohio.

Eddie had a great work ethic, and he was known to have a good sense of humor. He could really make you laugh, and at the same time would help anyone he could. Over the years, he was employed with several different companies, some of which were Birdeye and Hunts, in New York; Yale & Towne and Sanyo in Forrest City AR; Vesta, Dawson’s Heating & Cooling in Cincinnati OH, and independently in HVAC.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina, Featherstone, his grandson Terrance Featherstone; his parents, Willie, and Evelina; five brothers: Thomas Blackwell and Willie Miller; Willie (Bo) Featherstone; Eugene Featherstone, and Calvin Shepherd; and a sister Lillie Hatley.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Claudia Featherstone, his sons Ray Anthony and Joe Nathan Featherstone; a granddaughter Sarah Stewart; five great-grandchildren: Tavion Brown; Terrance Featherstone Jr., Ashley Middendorf; Temere Featherstone; and Trey’vion Maupin; of Cincinnati OH; six brothers Willie Featherstone Jr. (Josephine) of Monroe, NC; Freddie Featherstone Sr. (Rene) of Eastpointe, MI; David Featherstone ( Azzie) of Little Rock, AR; Larry Featherstone (Carol) of Little Rock, AR; Jerry Featherstone (Wilma) of Bowie, MD; Stanley Featherstone ( Angelette) of Bowie, MD; and two sisters, Gwen Bunch(Eddie) of Carlisle, AR; and Shirley Featherstone of Heth, AR. He is also survived by a host of relatives, cousins and friends who mourn his passing and hold memories of him, dear.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 12:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
