Eddie Antonio Crossty, affectionately known as "Bay Bay," was born on May 16, 1976, to Mary and Julius Crossty, which his father preceded him in death. He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Eddie attended Lincoln Heights Elementary School and later graduated from Princeton High School. Following high school, he developed skills in many trades, including landscaping, renovation, and forklift operation. Eddie also founded and operated several successful businesses, including E.C. Janitorial Service and Everything Labor Janitorial, an environmental multi-site service company.

Eddie was a loving husband to Porsha Ann Crossty, his wife of 10 years. He was a proud father of five beloved children: Shanae Davis; Edasia Crossty, mother of Kamiya McDonough; Antonio Crossty, father of Kyren and Kashton Crossty; Kenya Cooper; and Chayah Yahsharal.

He shared an eternal bond with his 11 siblings: Steven Crossty, who preceded him in death; Terrence Crossty; Terrie Crossty; Lawanda Criswell (Charles); Julius Crossty III; Sherry Crossty; Julius Crossty Jr.; Jewell Crossty; Jeffrey Crossty; Janice Crossty; and Jenetta Ofori (Frank). He also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

Eddie believed in building a strong foundation for his family to prosper and cherished creating lasting memories with his family and friends. Whether tending to his fruitful farm, cooking unforgettable meals, camping, or actively participating in community events, he brought warmth and joy to every room he entered.

Even through this tragic loss, may we remember how deeply Eddie loved his community. His hands were rarely still, his heart was always open, and he mentored as many young people as he could. He hoped to make Lincoln Heights a better place because he saw a future that many others could not. He envisioned a future of community, not division; a future of prosperity, not pain.

Eddie's life was a testament to the joy of serving others and nurturing both the land and the people around him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
