IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Earry Larkin was born January 19, 1946, in York, Alabama to the late Ike and Eddie D. (nee Brewster) Larkin. He was the youngest of nine siblings and was affectionately called' Bay Bay' by his family and close friends. Preceding him in death and anxiously awaiting his arrival are his parents; brothers, Ike Larkin Jr.; Charles Larkin Sr. and his sister, Evelyn L. Johnson. He departed this life on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 6:35 a.m. in the comfort of his home. Surrounded with his family, and loved ones close by his side. God decided he had fought a good fight, finished his course, led him to his new home in Glory! Earry confessed Christ at an early age and joined Ebenezer Second Baptist Church of Lincoln Heights under the leadership of Rev. Jack Zellars. He later moved his membership to New Community Baptist Church of Mount Healthy. He attended Cincinnati Public schools during his early school years and later attended Lincoln Heights High School where he graduated in 1963. On June 22, 1990 he married the love of his life and best friend, Lorrain (nee Weems) Larkin. He retired from the City of Cincinnati after 35 1/2 years as a dedicated worker. He was the ninth African American that worked at MSD (Metropolitan Sewer District). After retirement his love for kids and staying busy led him to work for Peterman Bus Transportation part time, as a Bus Driver and later became a School Bus Monitor. He loved spending time with his family and close friends. He enjoyed listening to jazz, playing cards and communicating with his brothers 'EVERY DAY' by phone. He also liked working in the yard and prided himself on keeping a manicured lawn.
