Douglas Cannon, age 64, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born January 19, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Corinthian Baptist Church, 772 Whittier Street, Cincinnati (45229) with visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Share special messages with the Cannon family at www.HerbWalker.com. Douglas Juan Cannon was born January 19, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of the late John and Eunice Cannon. He departed this life on April 27, 2014 at Drake Hospital after a brief illness. Doug was an active member at Corinthian Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. K. Z. Smith. After graduating from Withrow High School in 1968, he joined the United States Navy and was honorably discharged. He then attended the University of Cincinnati and received a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. He received his Master Degree in Business Administration from Xavier University. He retired in February 2010 from the City of Cincinnati, where he was employed as an accountant. Doug was preceded in death by his father, John Cannon, mother, Eunice Cannon; and brother, Arnold Cannon. He leaves to cherish his memory: four brothers, Johnny, Greg (Karen), Wendell, and Brian; three sisters, Cheryl, Karen, and Judy; Godson, Kaleb Allen. Special neighbors, Greg, Mattie, Doug, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
