Born in Cleveland, educated at Heights High and U of M, 'Dot' married her childhood sweetheart Richard B. Uhle in June 1942. She served 'Dick' through WWII while he served his country as a decorated young pilot and squadron leader for the 480th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. She was proud of her husband, family and faith. Dot and Dick traveled the States and the world together with stops in Miami, D.C., Boston, Cincinnati, Virginia, and Port Clinton. Devoted to her Presbyterian Church, she found many friends and worthwhile volunteer opportunities. Sunday school, Lads and Lassies Pre-school, Girl Scouts and Drop Inn Center were among the causes touched by her charisma, energy and love. Beloved wife of Richard, loving mother of three daughters, Ruby Webber, Karen Wray (Dan)and Sarah Uhle, and a son Richard (Dee Dee) Uhle, Jr. Loving grandmother of Matthew (Sonam) Krichbaum, Anna Krichbaum, Sarah (Mark) Vaine, Matthew (Trish) Matherly, Katie (Steve) Clem and Grant and Bo Uhle. Devoted great-grandmother of Anna and Sophie Vaine, Will and Adam Clem and Mason Matherly. Services at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 27 at The Presbyterian Church of Wyoming, 225 Wyoming Ave 45215.
