Dorothy M. Davis, age 79, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013. She was born August 21, 1934. She moved to Detroit, Michigan in the early 1950's and graduated from Miller High School in 1953. In 2007, Dorothy relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio. Dorothy was united in holy matrimony to Sandy Davis, Jr. on December 24, 1953. This union was blessed with two daughters, Sandra Denise and Shelia Ann. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Johnnie Alberta; husband, Sandy and two sisters, Annie Ruth Milner of Chicago, Illinois and Sadie Bell Outlin of Bessemer, Alabama. Dorothy departed this earth for her heavenly home on August 31, 2013. Dorothy leaves her memories to be cherished by: two daughters, Sandra Denise (Michael) Johnson and Shelia Ann (Michael) Freeman; grandchildren, Sherrard Davis, Michael Freeman, Khaliah Shepherd, Andwele Freeman, Jonathan Freeman, Michael Lee Johnson, Jr. and Christopher Johnson; great-grandchildren, Mykaela Freeman, Bridgette Shepherd, Cheryl Freeman, Adam Shepherd and Dylan Shepherd; brother, Willie James Massey of Fairfield, Alabama, a host of other relatives and friends.
