On March 6, 2014 the Angels of heaven lifted her home to be with the Lord. Dorothy attended Simmon High School in Hollandale, Mississippi before moving to Cincinnati, Ohio looking for a better life. Dorothy worked doing housekeeping for many years. She also loved music, especially the blues and she loved to dance. Dorothy loved being around her family and had a smile that would light up a room. Dorothy Ann Johnson also made sacrifices for her family raising her great-niece and great-nephew Lanesha Jones and Shawnquez Jones. Dorothy Ann Johnson was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Thompson; two sisters, Fannie Mae and Ruby; three brothers, Charles, Eugene, and Karilito. Dorothy Ann Johnson leaves to cherish her memory: her father, Willie Johnson; three children, Marvin, Frederick, and Eric; great-niece and nephew, Lanesha and Shawnquez; six sisters, Mary and Barbara from Indiana, Helen, Jenny, Joann (Johnny) and Velma (Eddie) from Mississippi; five brothers, Salmen (Tanya), Thomas, and Willie from Indiana, Christopher and from Mississippi, and Larry (Ida); two grandchildren, Ke'Arvin and Stephon and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
