Donald E. Harris, age 59, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born July 31, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Donald E. Harris, also known as Ms. Kitty, was born on July 31, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He exchanged time for eternity on Saturday, May 17, 1014 at 6:00 p.m. He was the fifth oldest of seven children born to the late Robert and Annie (nee Straughn) Harris. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Elton and sister, Patricia Ann Hightower. He was always available whenever someone called for help. He had his favorite choice of phrases, such as 'You Go Joke, You can Have That One, That's More Than a Notion, I Don't Do You, Say What You Mean and Mean What You Say'. Most of all he said 'UHM'. Doni also called himself a hard knot. Doni was baptized at the age of 15 at New Mission Missionary Baptist Church in Madisonville. He attended Withrow High School and went to Cosmetology School in the early 1970's. Doni loved all his nieces and nephews, and raised them as his own children. He leaves to cherish his memory, love, and passion: two brothers, Robert Harris Jr. and Charles Israel Harris; two sisters, Diane Washington-Stenson and Sandra Kay Williams; nieces and nephews, Andrew Nelson, Robert Harris Jr., Robin Harris, Charles Adams, Elisa Bellew, Tara S. Harris-Casey 'Sherre', Tasha M. Washington, William P. Washington III 'Bam', DeAnna V. Jones and De'Audra Jones 'Nisha'; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Corinthian Baptist Church, Whittier Street, 772 Whittier Street, Avondale (45229) with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service.
