Esther Diane Brown, better known as Diane, was born on March 21, 1952, to Tam Brown, Sr. and Flora Brown in Selma, Alabama. She entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 13, 2022, in Lincoln Heights,  Ohio.

Diane moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in the early 60s with her mother and siblings settling in Lincoln Heights. She attended Lincoln Heights Elementary and graduated from Lincoln Heights High School, class of 1970, the last graduating class from that school.

Diane worked at the Christ Hospital for 37 years retiring in 2017. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, cooking, gardening, and watching football as a lifelong proud Bengals fan. She was also an active member of her church Rose of Sharon Apostolic Pentecostal Church, attending Bible study and Sunday services faithfully.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents: Tam Brown, Sr. and Flora Brown; brothers: Herbert Brown, Tam Brown, Jr., and Howard Brown; daughter Monica Brown; nieces: Jacqueline "Jacquie" Farley and Latisha "Tish" Peart.

She leaves to cherish her memory: granddaughter Mykah Brown; beloved cat Olivia; sisters: Bettie Brown, Rose Carr Riley, Debra Brown, and Josie Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and close friends.

The family gathering is from  2:00 pm until 2:30 pm, on Friday, October 28, 2022, at the Walker Funeral Home Mt. Healthy Chapel, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt Healthy (45231).   The memorial service will immediately follow the family gathering beginning at 2:30 pm.

In keeping with CDC Covid19 Guidelines, we encourage those who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
