Derrick Lee Gibson the son of Scarlet Marie Gibson and Bobby Frazier was born on March 7, 1986 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Hamilton City Schools. On August 23, 2012 Derrick married Casey Laine Blackwell and to this union 2 children were born. Derrick was blessed with a God given talent as a artist and his drawings inspired many people. While attending Hamilton High he was a member of ROTC, the wrestling team and he played the trumpet for a brief moment. Derrick was a real nice young man who's smile could light up a room. He will be missed by his family he leaves behind. He passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 in Hamilton, OH, at the age of 31. Derrick is preceded in death by his grandfather Earl Baker; Grandmother Charlotte Faye Little; Aunt Elaine and a cousin Brian. He leaves to cherish is memory his devoted wife, Casey Laine Gibson; Four children, Adein Gibson, Kailee Gibson, Mason Kelly and Ayveri Gibson; Mother Scarlet (Anthony) Burch; Father Bobby Frazier; Two Grandmothers Debbie Frazier and Gloria Greene; Brothers Shawn Sheppard, Tre (Chelsea) Sheppard, Anthony Burch, Tyler Frazier, Kamyn Frazier, Quinn Meyer, Vaugh Meyer, Kevin Frazier, Devon Rupe; Sisters Sara Alexander, Karma Frazier, Bobbie (Lou) Meyer, Brooklynn Meyer; Uncle Glenn Gibson; Aunts Crystal Little, Jennifer Miller and Wendy Clendenine. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at the Glory Road Baptist Church, 199 Highland Ave., Hamilton (45013).
