Derek A. Partlowe was born on November 4, 1967. He was the youngest child of Leona and Alfred Partlowe. He departed this life on August 14, 2025. Derek graduated from Cincinnati Academy of Physical Education (CAPE), where he was a star football player. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Army, where he served his country in Desert Storm. Derek worked for Topicz for many years as a forklift driver, and he loved his job.

He is survived by his parents, Leona and Alfred Partlowe; his sister, Gena Riggs (James); his children, Derek and Jessica Partlowe; his longtime companion, Andrea Olinger; his nephews, Louis and Marcelous Riggs; and a host of family and close friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
