Dennis Ray Howard born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on February 23, 1940, to the late Vernon Lee Howard and Rose (nee Creech) Howard.  He entered eternal rest on February 9, 2021,  at the age of 80,  at St. Elizabeth in Florence, Kentucky.  Dennis Loved to Hunt and Fish but more than anything He Loved his Family.  He lived a long life full of love and lessons he taught his children to live by. Dennis was a Retired Car Hauler of 33 years who took great pride in his accomplishments he received for a job well done.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years (Married 54 but together 58) 1967-2021 Rose Marie (Montooth) Howard.  Dennis will be dearly missed by his sons, Dennis Ray Howard (Dennis Boden), Russell Allen Howard (Russell Davis), Vernon Tribute Howard;  Daughters,  Pauline Creech, Suellen Welch, Theresa (Howard) Ritko, and  Dawn Marie (Howard) Lambert;  and many grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Dennis's wishes were to be cremated and some of his ashes spread at his favorite places. He did not want a ceremony. He wanted People to Remember Him for the way he was.

His Loving Wife wanted Him to Know, "Love Always and Forever".
