Demonte Demetrius Ashmore “Tae Tae” Brady, Jr. was born on July 20, 2008, in Bellflower, California. He departed this life on August 15, 2026, at the young age of 18. He was baptized at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Compton, California.

Tae Tae was entering his Senior year at Virtual High School and looking forward to graduating with the class of 2027.

Tae Tae was a loving son, father, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was a young man full of life with a personality all his own. His smile, laughter, and presence will be remembered by the many family members and friends who knew and loved him.

One of the greatest blessings in Tae Tae’s life was becoming a father to his one-year-old daughter, Dream. The love he had for his daughter will forever be a part of his legacy, and she will continue to carry a special part of her father with her as she grows.

Tae Tae enjoyed playing basketball, living life, and spending time with his family and friends. He will especially be remembered for being a great dad, his infectious smile, and being the life of the party.

Demonte was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Tina Brady; his aunt, Demetrius Brady; and his uncle, O’Bryan Spikes. He leaves to cherish in his memory his daughter, Dream Noelle Brady; his mother, Jazzmine Thomas; his father, Demonte Brady; sisters, Nya Jean Thomas, Honesty Thomas-Brady, and Zakiyah Thomas; and brothers, O’mari Smith and Zion Brady. Maternal grandparents, Tina Lee and Corey Thomas; Paternal grandfather, Owen Spikes. Great-grandparents, Sandra Smiley, Judy Brady, and Owen Spikes, Sr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Although Tae Tae’s time with us was far too short, the love and memories he leaves behind will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Eighteen years was not nearly long enough, but it was long enough for Tae Tae to be deeply loved- and that love will remain forever.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
