It is with profound sadness we announce the heavenly transition of Delores  Barefield.

Delores Edwards Barefield better known as Candy was born January 24, 1957 to the late William Dennis and Emma Lee Johnson.  Our queen gained her wings on Tuesday December 31st 2024 at the age of 67.  Candy attended Samuel Ott high school. If you knew Candy then you know she kept a smile on her face. All she needed was some good music and a drink, she was going to dance the night away.

Candy enjoyed being around her family and friends but most importantly her sisters! Denise and Maxine Edwards.

Candy is preceded in death by her sister Vivian Lee Maxwell affectionately known as (Sista) and her older brother Issac (Butch ) Brown;  and her love interest for many years Johnny ( Studebaker ) Everson.

Memorial Service is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Friday, January 24, 2025, at the New Generations Banquet Hall, 4595 Paddock Road, Cincinnati  (45229).   Repast will follow from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
