Dekisha "Kisha" Wyana Britten was born on January 9, 1979, to the late Yolanda Britten and Harry Morrison. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Harry Britten, uncle, Marcus Britten, and three nephews, Sha'Kel Smith,

Dayvon Britten Jr., and Arenz Jamison Jr. Kisha departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

She leaves to cherish her memory two aunts, Kavotus Lackey and Belinda Reeves; two uncles, Rachi, and Marcus; her devoted sisters, Tanika, Shadda, DeKila (her twin), Shelicia, Felicia, and Akerria; thirteen nieces and nephews; and fifteen great-nieces and nephews. Kisha also leaves behind her loving partner of 17 years, Lucinda "Lucy" King, along with a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Kisha received her education at St. Rita School for the Deaf, where she was an active and spirited student who enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball. She loved spending time with her family and was known for her warm heart, sense of humor, and generous spirit. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Kisha touched many lives through her kindness and compassion.

She enjoyed watching football, (a HUGE BENGALS FAN) relaxing with a cold beer, and spending time with her beloved dog, Black Pepper. A dedicated and hardworking woman, Kisha held various jobs throughout her life and was always motivated to stay busy and productive.

Kisha's loving heart, laughter, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the WALKER EVENT CENTER, 3939 Reading Rd. , Cincinnati  (45229).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation,  beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
