IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Debra Kay
Boone
December 20, 1956 – February 8, 2024
Debra Kay Boone, a lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a treasured soul known for her radiant smile and nurturing spirit, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2024, at the age of 67. She was born on December 20, 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late George and Ruth Ann Weir. Debra's journey was one marked by a profound love for the natural world and the joy of family life.
With a green thumb that could coax life from the most stubborn of soils, Debra's gardens were a testament to her patience and care. Her passion for plants was more than a hobby; it was a way of connecting with the earth and sharing her love for growth and beauty with all who knew her. Debra's gardens became a place of gathering, teaching, and laughter, reflecting her generous spirit.
An avid bingo player, Debra's laughter was a familiar sound at the local community center where she would spend evenings with friends, celebrating both the wins and the near misses. Her competitive yet cheerful nature made her a favorite among her fellow players, creating memories that would bloom in their hearts for years to come.
Debra's love for shopping was matched only by her impeccable taste. She took joy in finding the perfect gifts for her loved ones, turning every holiday and birthday into a thoughtful celebration of the individual. Her gifts were always wrapped with care, each ribbon a symbol of the love she held for her family.
Above all, Debra cherished her family. Her dedication to her relatives was unwavering, and she nurtured her kin with the same tenderness she bestowed upon her plants. In every role she played—be it mother, sister, aunt, or friend—Debra's love was the root that held her family tree steadfast.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Danny Begley.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Anna Boone, Tiffany Begley, and Ashley Begley; her sons, Michael Boone and Cody Begley; her granddaughter, Dae'zha Boone; and grandsons, Gage Thompson and Max Siekman; thirteen great-grandchildren: Ashton French, Colson French, Aeliana French, Nora French, Jordyn French, Lillian Boone, Myka Boone, Michael Boone Jr, Nevaeha Williams, Chelsey Williams, Sonya Williams, Naomi Williams, Bobby Williams Jr, Jasmine Cummins, and Ashlynn Cummins.
As the seasons change and the flowers in her garden continue to bloom, Debra's legacy will live on. Her love and laughter have left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Debra Kay Boone will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire and comfort her family and friends for generations to come.
