Ms. Deborah Michelle Sapp was born on July 1, 1962, in Aiken, South Carolina to Betty Holt. Shortly thereafter, the family moved to Cincinnati, where she was raised by her great-grandmother, Olivia Bunyan, and grandmother, Daisy Sapp.

Deborah Michelle Sapp attended Hughes High School, where she was a member of the school band and played the clarinet. Soon after graduating, she joined the Army at the age of 17. While serving in the Army, she attended the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Applied Science, where she graduated in 1980.

Deborah Michelle Sapp served in Gulf War operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm as military police in the early 1990s. Soon after returning home from the war, she retired from military service.

Deborah Michelle Sapp later moved to Nashville, where she worked for Saturn Corporation. Later in life, she returned to Cincinnati and eventually settled in Erlanger. Deborah Michelle Sapp also volunteered in support of veterans.

Deborah Michelle Sapp leaves to cherish her memory one brother, Marty Sapp; one sister, Stacy Holt; a very special niece, Delanda “Missy” Stewart; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-nieces.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 10:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
