Deborah Ann Allen was born December 24, 1954, the second oldest of seven children to the proud parents of Earnest Allen Sr., and Rachel Lee Allen. She was affectionately called 'Deb' by her family. Debbie attended Cincinnati Public Schools grade school, Rockdale Elementary, Samuel Ach Jr. High, graduated from Hughes High School. Debbie was a loving and caring person. She was baptized at St. James AME Zion Church on Wilson Avenue in Avondale, while very young. She then joined Corinthian Baptist Church under Rev. Wesley Maxie. Debbie will greatly be missed by her family and friends. Her son, Kenneth Allen, father, Earnest Allen, Sr., sister, Earnestine Allen Cobb all preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory: a daughter, Erica Nicole Dawson; six grandchildren; mother, Rachel Lee Allen; sisters, I. Pat Allen, Rachel Allen, Veronica Allen Pitts, Carrie Allen; brother, Earnest Allen Jr.; adoptive sister, Juanita Owsley, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and many dear friends.
