Lee Lynch
January 20, 1955 – December 8, 2017
Deacon Charles Lee Lynch was born to the union of deceased Willie Frank Lynch and Mildred Bradley Lynch , January 20, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Charles attended the Cincinnati Public School system until graduating from Hughes High school in 1973. He worked as a Custodian and later received his boiler operation license while working for the Board of Education until retirement of 30 years. Charles had a passion for cooking, gardening, watching sports, as expert statistician of college and professional football. Not to leave out his many discussions on politics and world affairs. Charles cared for Mary affectionately. Charles was very spiritual at a young age, which led to his love for Christ and church. His Christian journey included being baptized in 1988 and later ordained as a Deacon in September 1990 under the leadership of Pastor Wiley Walton Jr. at Mt Tabor Baptist church. Positions held Chairman of the Deacon board, Sunday School teacher and Treasurer continued also to New Spirit Non-Denominational Church that meets at Woods Edge Point, under Elder Raymond Prysock. The residents anticipated the delicious meals provided by the congregation throughout each year. Charles leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Mary Evans Lynch of 29 years, 3 brothers, William (Judy) F. Lynch, Donald Lynch, Gary (Theresa) Lynch of California. 3 Sisters Marilyn Hawkins, Jynella (James) Perdue and Darlene Lynch. Brother in law Peter (Cheryl) Evans of Virginia and Sister in law Jacqueline (Lewis) Anderson of South Carolina. 3 granddaughters Treane Brown, Nikki Cichester and Ebony Williams. 1 grandson Anthony Lazenby Jr. and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A stepson Anthony Lazenby and 2 brothers Raymond White and Eddie (Barbara) Williams preceded him in death. 2 songs cherished by Charles and Mary are: I'll always love you forever and ever and one day and Jesus is the best thing that ever happened to us. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the James Temple Church of God In Christ, 1116 Lincoln Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
