IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Davionne Kimberly
Treasure Gibson
November 1, 2006 – February 5, 2017
Davionne Kimberly Treasure Gibson was born November 1, 2006 in Cincinnati OH to proud parents David Gibson and Deandra Eberhart. Her grandmother Gwendolyn was her second mother and provided so much love and care for her. Davionne attended Roselawn Condon School. She received her wings peacefully at home with her loving Mother and sisters on February 5, 2017. Davionne lost her battle with complications of cerebal palsy at the tender age of 10 years old. She went through a lot of struggles with her health but was always ready to give you a big smile, especially when you talked to her. Davionne loved music, it always put her in a good mood. Sometimes she would even sing the songs. She loved to take car rides and would get excited when she knew she was going somewhere. Although she couldn't form words, she would always respond. It might be ten minutes later, but she would remember that someone said something to her. Davionne's favorite color was yellow. She would always smile at that color because it was bright like her. Davionne was her grandma Kim's treasure, before she was born and throughout her life, that's where she got her middle names. Grandma Kim played music for her and kept her in a good mood. Even on her bad days she always had a big smile for her. Davionne was truly loved by her grandfathers. Grandfather Fred would hit you with his cane if you messed with her. He would say "hey sit her right here!". Grandfather Ricky would stop what he's doing to see her in the hospital and talk to her until she would fall asleep. Davionne leaves to cherish her loving memories, her beautiful sisters Tamyah and Morgan and her brothers Tyson and Tavon. She also has a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss that bright smile she gives so willingly. She also has her great grandmothers Geraldine (Granny) and Hazel who are waiting for her in heaven to come and keep them company again. Special thanks go out to Children's Hospital's doctors, specialists, therapists, nurses and the rest of their staff for providing excellent care. Special thank you to her teacher Ellen Buell, nurse Pat Miller, and therapists at school for always providing loving care. Also thanks to our Habitat for Humanity and Delta family. We love and appreciate what all of you have done. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at the Walker- Walnut Hills Chapel, 1025 E. McMillan Street , Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
