David T. Williams, "Dave", was born on July 20, 1952, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the only child born to the blessed union of the late Lillian and the late W.T. Williams. David departed this life in peace on June 16, 2025, at approximately 11:03 pm at the V.A. Medical Center after a long illness.

David received his education in the DeKalb County School System. Although Dave had his health issues, he never stopped living life. He never complained. Dave was a faithful employee at Fredrick Steel Mill, LLC, until his health started to fail.

Dave loved life, and life loved him. In his spare time, Dave loved his word search puzzle books and spending time with his grandchildren. He will truly be missed.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Barbara V. Williams; his children, Mia Williams (Charles), Philip Williams (Monica), and Amber Williams (Kaleb); his special sister-in-law, Ethel Carpenter; his brother-in-law, David Grisby Jr. (Carolyn); and his dear friend, George Akins (Pecola). He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a beloved grandson in Heaven, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Sleep on, Dave, take your rest, we love you, but God loves you best.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
