David L. Gunkel, 74 years of age passed away on December 24, 2019 at his home. He was born August 30, 1945 in Savannah Georgia.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Thelma, sister Patricia Beale and brother-in- law Jim Gnau.

He is survived by his sisters, Pam Gunkel (Denise), Vickie Gnau, Cathy Wesley (J.D.), Missy Leever (Dave) and brother Chris Gunkel (Ann), brother-in-law Mike Beale and many nieces, nephews and great nieces/nephews.

Visitation will be 9:00 am - 10:00 am Friday January 3, 2020, at St. Henry Church, 3813 Dixie Hwy, Elsmere, KY 41018. Mass following at 10:00 am with private entombment at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, Ky.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy to the charity of your choice.
