David Glenn Jones

It is with profound sadness that we announce the heavenly transition of David Glenn Jones, age 76, of Cincinnati, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 9, 2026, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Tuesday, January 3, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Dorothy Jean Jones (White) and John Elmer Crutchfield.

David attended William Howard Taft Elementary and Cutter High school. David then went on to attended Job Corp Trade School for carpentry and welding and he also worked for General Motors. David was blessed with two brothers, John Timothy Jones and Anthony Moses Johnson. Family was an important part of David’s life. David was preceded in death by his beloved parents, and his brother, Anthony Moses Johnson. David leaves to cherish his memory his brother, John Timothy Jones and Michelle; his six children, Fred, Kimberly, Donitha, Arnita, David Jr., and Dorothy; and his 13 grandchildren, Frederic, Erica, Latonya, Tyler, Ta’Shay, Tiffany, Joylynn, Arthur, Diana, Dai’ja, Antania, Mikiah, and Ethan. He also leaves a host of 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
