Daryll Keith Crawford was born on January 12, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He peacefully passed away on January 8, 2026, surrounded by love.

Daryll was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was married to his loving wife, Nicole Crawford, for 39 years, with whom he shared his life and home. He was a proud father of four daughters: Toria, Terica, Nicole, and Rochell, each of whom brought him immense joy and purpose.

He leaves behind a lasting legacy through his grandchildren. His daughter Toria is the mother of Torriaun, Torri'Asia, and Dameir. His daughter Terica and her fiancé, Donta Borden, are the parents of Terrico, Terrick, and Jaylen. His daughter Nicole is the mother of Cerious, Cy'Ril, Cereniti, Cherish, and Chozen. His daughter Rochell is the mother of Xavier.

Daryll had a deep love for music, movies, wrestling, and bingo—passions that brought him comfort, joy, and connection throughout his life. Whether listening to his favorite songs or watching a good film, these moments reflected his appreciation for rhythm, storytelling, and creativity, as well as his ability to fix or repair almost anything.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean Dunkin; his sister, Diane Crawford; his uncle, Robert Brown; and his father-in-law, Percy Powell, who received him with open arms. He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings: Michelle Crawford, Pearline Crawford, Kevin Crawford, and Tony Crawford. He also leaves his mother-in-law, whom he loved dearly, Mary Jane Powell; his siblings-in-law: April, Catherine, Tony, Lynn, Elliott, and Jeff; and his special niece, Sparkle, whom he loved like a daughter. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his memory.

Above all, Daryll will be remembered for his love for his family and the memories he created with those closest to him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the House of Hope, 930 Findlay Street, Cincinnati  (45214).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation,  beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
