Dariz Rashad
Bray, Jr.
August 9, 2006 – February 25, 2026
D’ariz Bray Jr. was born on August 9, 2006, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to D’ariz Bray Sr. and Niesha Williams. He departed this life on February 25, 2026.
D’ariz leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Dacariii Myzel Bray; his parents, Niesha Williams and D’ariz Bray Sr.; his great-grandmother, Helen Hicks; grandparents, Eugene (Kita) Vassar, Sonya (David) Woods, and Victor Lane Sr.; his godmother, Kortney Harper; his siblings, Nyarie, Daniya, and Deveon Bray, and Dierra Anderson; his aunts, Raven Williams, Niesha Bray, Neyona Johnson, Helen Johnson, and Doe Vassar; his uncles, Victor Lane Jr., David Woods, and Darion Woods; along with a host of cousins, extended family, and many friends.
D’ariz was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth “Liz Bliz” Williams.
D’ariz attended Woodward High School, where he played on the Bulldogs basketball team. After high school, he worked at Taco Bell and later attended Easterseals Redwood, where he pursued certifications in construction. In 2023, at the tender age of 16, D’ariz gave his life to Jesus Christ at Greater St. John AME Zion Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. He also encouraged his friends to come to the altar and do the same.
D’ariz was a bright young man—a natural leader and protector at heart—who loved his family and friends deeply and was devoted to supporting and caring for those around him. Growing up, he loved sports. He played football and basketball and had a strong passion for boxing, a skill and love passed down from his grandfather, Eugene Vassar. D’ariz’s smile was always bright; it lit up every room he entered, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He was full of humor and laughter, with a genuinely kind heart, and was a joy to be around. His presence will be deeply missed.
