Daniel Timothy Ramsey born to the late Rev, David N. Ramsey, Sr. and Vivian Ann Ramsey on November 16, 1952 in London, Ohio. Daniel, who was affectionately known as Danny to family and childhood friends, was educated in the Cincinnati Public School system. He was baptized at the age of 12 at Jerriel Baptist Church, Cincinnati, OH, and has been a solider for Christ all of his life. Daniel chose the career of a security guard where he spent many years in this profession. He was employed at the BASF Manufacturing Plant in Cincinnati, OH. Daniel took up the challenge of being an entrepreneur of selling products and other items to consumers Daniel had a sincere interest and desire to know and serve the Lord. In his early twenties, He served as an associate minister at the Ramsey family church, Jerriel Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor A. L. Goodwin who ordained Daniel as a minster. Daniel was always ready to expound on the word of God and promote His goodness and shared with others the good news of our Lord and Savior. Daniel was good hearted person and would always find it in his heart to see the good in people he came in contact with regardless to what they may be going through. He felt that prayer was always the best way to address ones needs and concerns and he never gave up in having Faith that God would always provide. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents Rev. David and Vivian Ramsey and three brothers, Paul, Mark, and Matthew. Among those who will cherish his memories: his daughter Christine Ramsey, three sisters; Lois (Jack) Johnson, Susan (Curtis) Qualls, and Esther Ramsey, two brothers; David, Jr., & John (Belva) and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended relatives and friends. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at the Walker- Walnut Hills Chapel, 1025 E. McMillan Street , Cincinnati (45206).
