Daniel Lee Martin Jr., 55, of Erlanger passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, January 9th at St Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.  He was an administrative accountant with Airtron Heating & Cooling for six years before medically retiring in 1998. Daniel enjoyed football (especially his Bengals), hunting, fishing, collecting, and his three cats, Sterling, Pinky, and Stormy. His memory will be forever cherished by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his father Daniel Lee Martin Sr.  He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sheila and William Abbey of Elsmere; sisters, Cathi Rice of Elsmere, Tracy Martin of Elsmere, Becky (Robert) Paul of Independence, and Kayla Martin of Elsmere; brothers, Jonathan (Davy) Martin of Jacksonville, NC, and Nathan Abbey (Jamie) of Independence; son, Danny (Jami) Martin of Burlington; daughters, Heather (Chad) Crider of Florence, and Robin (still searching for the "one'') Martin of Independence; and his significant other, Carolyn Dabe of Erlanger. He was the proud grandfather of 10 wonderful grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Daniel will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at The Erlanger Lion's Club, 5996 Belair Drive, Florence, KY 41042 in the lower level.
