Damontae Gibson was born on November 9, 1992 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Lushonda Gibson and Ephron Linzy (Ebony), and  his grandmothers, Annie Gibson and Carolyn Burden.

Damontae attended Cincinnati Public Schools. He loved his children, family and friends. He was very smart, musically talented and a leader to his family, friends, and peers. He grew to be a real honest man with a big heart. He was not a yes man nor a selfish man. He spoke light into anyone's situation. Damontae was heart driven when it came to his family and friends. He would ride with you until the wheels fell off.

Damontae leaves behind his four children, Zah'Niya Gibson Landrum, Keonte Gibson, Damiya Gibson and Da'Mir Gibson; his siblings, Shaniqua Linzy, Raymond Virge Jr., Je'Lan Linzy, Tiasia Gibson, Jasmine Howard, Raquan Virge, JuJuan Linzy, JeVon Linzy, Raeshaun Virge and Heaven Gibson; grandfathers, Gregory Mullins, and Ephron Linzy Sr.; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at the House of Joy, 3220 Central Parkway, Cincinnati (45225). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
