Damon Graves, a loving father, son, brother and uncle passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2020 at the age of 44 at Mercy West Hospital.

Damon is survived by his parents; his children, Damisha Thomas, Amya Graves, Amani Graves, Dameco Graves and Jaliyah Graves; two sisters, Germaine and Nicole Graves; brother, Andrae Graves; aunts, Rochelle Graves and Betty Harris; partner of 23 years, April James; the mother of his last child, Loraine Glover; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and three uncles.

Damon was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 27, 1975 to Veronica Graves and Rayford McFarland. Damon was a very outgoing and loving man who tried living his life to the fullest. His light and warmth touched all that loved him. His outrageous personality shined bright when he was showing his sense of humor. His laugh would make you laugh. It was so deep and heartfelt it would make his shoulders shake.

To know and love Damon was to know genuine love. To feel the warmth of his genuine compassion and to get his unconditional loyalty was love.

Damon was a devoted and loving father who wanted nothing more than to have a positive impact on his children's lives. He enjoyed traveling, adrenaline filled activities, and movies. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his children.

Damon was a great listener and problem solver who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His smile and love will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whos path he crossed.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Interment will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 3117 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.

I n keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions masks are required in order to enter  the service and social distancing must be practiced.  Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
