Daisy Mae Johnson was born Feburary 19, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Roger Miller and Rosie Jones, both of whom preceded her in death. Of this union, Daisy was the third born of a sibship of four, one preceded her in death, her older brother James Wright. Daisy was educated in the Cincinnati school District. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. Daisy would work a variety of jobs that would span over 45 years. Her last 11 years were spend working for LensCrafters as technician and leader before retiring.

She was joined in Holy Matrimony to William H. Johnson on July 27, 1964 for 54 beautiful years.

She loved spending time with her family, traveling as a Army military spouse for 26 years, listening to music, dancing, cooking, and shopping. Daisy departed this life on November 20, 2018. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, William H. Johnson, three children, William Johnson Jr (Vicki), Gregory Johnson (Tamara), and Yvonne Johnson; eight grandchildren, DaRonte, Dejah, Bruce, Mahogany, Aija, Libya, KeSheay, and Tajah; two great-grandchildren, Braydon and Blake; two sisters, Eddie Mae Lewis and Alice Lee Rivers; sister-in-law, Joyce Runyon; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family, all of whom were very dear to her heart.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 722 Oak Street, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
