IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daimone Deshaun
Hatch
July 20, 1985 – February 9, 2026
Daimone DeShaun Hatch was born to Nicole J. Corey (Kevin Corey) and Bennie Hinton (Mildred Hinton) on July 20, 1985, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Daimone went home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2026.
Daimone accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Dr. Ternae Jordan at the Greater Progressive Baptist Church in Fort Wayne, IN, and later under Dr. Luther Whitfield at New Covenant Worship Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Daimone moved to Cincinnati and attended Word Of Deliverance Ministries for the World, Inc., led by Bishop Bobby Hilton and Dr. Vilda Hilton, and eventually joined Citygate Church in 2024, under the leadership of Pastor Eric and Kim Petree, where he led his family in being rebaptized by taking the plunge on Sunday, June 23, 2024, and remained a faithful member until his homegoing.
Daimone graduated from North Side High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he excelled in football, wrestling, and track and field. Daimone was known among classmates and friends as a trusted, humorous, and respected confidante. He later attended Ivy Tech College, where he acquired skills in electrical and construction. Daimone was also a devoted Oregon Ducks fan.
Upon relocating with his parents to Cincinnati, Daimone found purposeful employment and was promoted to the leadership position of Superintendent of Grounds at the Motz Group in Cincinnati, Ohio. One needs to look no further than the football fields at Norwood High School and Walnut Hills High School to see the excellence of his craft. At an early age, Daimone also developed a deep passion for music and spent meaningful time traveling and enjoying quality time with family, constantly embracing new experiences.
Upon moving to Cincinnati, Daimone met and married Erica, the love of his life and the wind beneath his wings. Their holy matrimony was truly one of God's greatest gifts to humanity. Together, they built a life centered on God, love, family, and trust. "Erica, You Made Daimone a Better Man!" Daimone's passion and commitment to his family and his devotion to God shaped every area of his life.
Daimone was the ultimate family man and a trustworthy son, and he will forever be remembered for his caring heart, infectious laughter, unwavering strength, and quiet wisdom. He had a gift for uplifting others and leaving a lasting impact on those who met him.
Daimone leaves to cherish his beloved wife, Erica; his children, DJ, Aniyah, Tayana, Katelyn, and Paishence; his siblings, Bennie (Amany) Hatch of Las Vegas Nevada, Gralan (Adriana) Early of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Patrick Green of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Radiance Carter of Fort Wayne, Indiana, KC (Julia) Corey of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Casey Hinton of Atlanta, Georgia, Chelsey Hinton of Atlanta, Georgia, and Benyana Hinton of Atlanta, Georgia; paternal grandfather, Bennie Edward Hinton; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousin, aunts, uncles and dear friends.
