Curtis Mitchell was born on December 10, 1955, to the late Leola L. Mitchell and Theron Washington. Curtis departed this life and reunited with his mother and father on November 1, 2025.

Curtis was a loving, devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend to everyone he knew. He loved to help others. One of the things he loved to do was bake. He loved to chauffeur our mother anywhere she wanted to go. (Our mother was his best friend.) Curtis was the life of the party; he always made everyone laugh. He loved cars, dancing, and skating.

Curtis leaves to cherish his memory: his siblings, Thomas E. (Dora) Mitchell, Ssr., Anthony L. Mitchell (Tass), Orthur L. Mitchell, Sr., Donna R. (Donchico) Springs, Willie T. Mitchell, Kenneth D. Mitchell (Kelli), Mary D. Mitchell, Falayan O. Mitchell, and Janet Washington; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation,  beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
